The
home of Buda Juniors is Csilleberc at Normafa, up in
the Buda hills. The leafy grounds provide a lovely surrounding
for football in the sun, while the indoor sports hall provides
us with a great alternative for when the weather is not good
enough to play outdoors.
We play at Csilleberc during every training session (Tuesdays,
Thursdays and Saturdays) unless there is a problem and we
cannot hire the pitch or sports hall there. If this is the
case, we place details about the new venue on the Home
and News pages of this website and
email all members.
(Directions to other venues which we sometimes use for training
or matches if Csilleberc is not available can be found here.)
Csillebérci

 Csillebérc
is a large recreational centre located in one of the most
beautiful parts of Budapest. Situated in the forests of the
Buda Hills in the 12th district, Csillebérc has an outdoor
football field, a large indoor sports hall and a restaurant/bar
with terrace. Other facilities include a hotel, camping facilities,
outdoor swimming pool, play areas for children and conference
and banqueting rooms.
 Training
is outdoors in the Spring and Summer and indoors in the Winter.
We have the use of both the field and indoor sports hall all
year round, so that, depending on the weather, we can always
change our plans.
By car:
From 12th District: Déli Pályaudvar - Nagyenyed utca -
Istenhegyi út - Eötvös út - Konkoly Thege Miklós utca
From 2nd District: Zugligeti út - Béla Király út - (under
a bridge) - Istenhegyi út - Eötvös út- Konkoly Thege Miklós
utca
Towards the top of the hill, there will be a water tower in
the middle of the road. Stay on the main road and shortly
afterwards, you will see the Olimpia Hotel followed by the
Normafa Hotel on the left. At the Normafa Hotel, follow the
main road around to the left. This is now Konkoly Thege Miklós
utca. Csillebérc is down this road on the right, immediately
after a railway crossing.
By public transport:
Take
bus number 90 from Moskva ter (from
the bus stop at the top of the stairs above the Metro)
and get off two stops after Normafa (at the Gyermekvasut stop). The buses come every 12-24 minutes - see the timetable. There is also a regular 90A bus (marked with a * on the timetable), which only goes to Normafa, from where you can then walk down Konkoly Thege Miklos út to Csillebérc
(about 10 minutes).
Finding your way around Csillebérc:
Once you arrive at Csillebérc, go through the main entrance
and in front of you will see a roundabout. At the roundabout
go straight over, keeping to the main road.
To get to the INDOOR SPORTS HALL (the Blazerdome) -
almost immediately after the roundabout turn right. Parking is here. From the roundabout
you will see the Blazerdome on the right behind a blue building.
To get to the FOOTBALL FIELD - after the roundabout,
drive straight ahead keeping to the main road. The field will
be on the right hand side at the end of the road.
